Nympho Life interview
Nympho life is an online space made to “help people develop erotic intelligence through fostering open conversations around sexuality & intimacy, showcasing tasteful erotic art, and supporting creators & businesses in this space”. In the conversation Polina and I shared, what shone through most of all was her love of art and mythology- stating them both as her biggest inspirations for the space. “Since a very young age, I have been fascinated by Greek mythology. Especially the myths about seductive and elusive nymphs, sirens, and Greek Goddesses. Their depiction in classic paintings was my original inspiration for nympho life."

Polina’s move to Prague at the age of 18 was a transformative experience that shaped her views on sexuality and her engagement with the sex-positive community. Coming from Belarus, a society she describes as close-minded, judgmental, and homophobic, Polina sought a more open and liberal environment. Her involvement in the local Prague LGBTQ+ community, frequent attendance at Prague Pride, and participation in various sex-positive events, from panel discussions to Dominatrix dungeons, have all enriched her perspective and informed the inclusive, adventurous spirit of Nympho Life.
She believes that embracing and exploring one's sexuality can lead to a more fulfilled life, serving as a source of inspiration, creativity, connection, and self-discovery. The positive feedback and support from her community are testaments to the impact of her work and the importance of the messages she conveys.
However, creating and promoting a podcast centred around sensuality comes with its own set of challenges, the most prominent being censorship.
Other pushbacks include her mother, she humorously notes that her mother is not a fan of explicit sexual expression and sometimes feels uncomfortable with Polina’s posts. Additionally, the term "nympho" often attracts unwanted attention, leading to cringy messages from strangers who misinterpret the brand's intent. Yet, Polina takes these in her stride, understanding it as part of the landscape for anyone sharing erotic content.
